INFORMATION FOR NEIGHBORS

Staff members, volunteers, and residents agree to greet neighbors kindly and answer questions honestly and with integrity. If a neighbor asks whom they can contact related to the house or foundation, the neighbor will be directed to contact the local property manager or Katie’s House Foundation™ at (205) 737-4440.

A team member will respond within 2 business days or sooner if it is urgent.

SMOKING

No smoking inside the house. You must be at least 20 feet away from structures. You may smoke in front of the house on the sidewalk. Aluminum cans be used for ash. Pick up any trash and cigarette butts, and clear any ash. Be respectful and do not leave any traces.

LOITERING

No wandering around the neighborhood or hanging out in large groups, except on the property.

LEWD OR OFFENSIVE LANGUAGE

Be mature and mindful in your words. No racism, sexism, curse words, or other derogatory comments to anyone.

CLEANLINESS OF THE PROPERTY

The property must be in good order (IGO) with no trash or debris in the yard or on the porches. No fireworks on or near the property.

PARKING

Parking is in the driveway or on the street, first come first served. Give others enough space to enter and exit their parking space 24/7. All vehicles must be kept in good repair and vehicles that are not actively moving every 3 days or on notice for out-of-town travel will be towed.
